Connect Twitch, X or Instagram
Each platform's own authorisation, read-only, one snapshot of identity and follower count. Instagram needs a professional account.

Steps
In the Channels card of the creator portal choose Connect Twitch, Connect X or Connect Instagram. The platform asks you to authorise Slop Squash; confirm, and you return to the portal with the channel listed and its follower count.
What each platform shares

We request read access only (Twitch follower scope; X users.read and tweet.read; Instagram instagram_business_basic). The tokens are used for that one read and discarded. We never post, read direct messages, follow, or take any action on the account.
Instagram professional accounts
Meta offers this authorisation only for business or creator accounts. If the portal says "No professional Instagram account was found", switch your account to professional in Instagram's settings and connect again.
Refresh and detach
Refresh re-runs the authorisation and replaces the snapshot. Detach removes the channel, except the last one on a pending or approved application.
Revoking at the platform
Twitch: twitch.tv/settings/connections. X: x.com/settings/connected_apps. Instagram: instagram.com/accounts/manage_access. Revoking stops future connections; detach the channel or delete your account to remove the snapshot we hold.
Errors
"You cancelled on X" means the consent screen was closed. "Already verified on another Slop Squash account" means the channel is attached elsewhere; see A channel is already verified on another account. "Something went wrong talking to Twitch" is a platform or configuration error; try again later or email creators@slopsquash.com.
