Creator program
Why applications are rejected, and reapplying
Usually audience size, channel age or the kind of content. The portal shows a reviewer's note when there is one, and you can reapply after 30 days.
Updated
What the portal tells you
"This application was not approved", followed by the reviewer's note if a person wrote one, or the generic line: the channel did not fit the program at the time of review, usually audience size, channel age, or the kind of content. Under that, the date from which you can reapply.
Common reasons
- A small or very new audience. Verified numbers come from the platform, so there is no way to round up. Grow the channel and reapply.
- Only a website. Websites carry no audience figure and are shown to reviewers as unverified audience. A website alone may not be enough; connect a platform channel too.
- Content that conflicts with the program. The creator program terms exclude channels with unlawful content, hate speech, harassment, sexually explicit material, malware, infringing content, or content aimed at children, and coupon or deal channels whose purpose is distributing codes.
- Signs of inflated numbers. Purchased followers or bot audiences are a misrepresentation under the terms.
- A pitch that suggests prohibited methods, such as paid search on our brand, incentivised sign-ups, or mass messaging.
We may approve or reject at our discretion and are not obliged to give reasons.
Reapplying
After 30 days the portal offers Reapply. Your channels stay connected; refresh their snapshots first if the numbers have changed. Address the reason if one was given.
Asking for a human look
If the decision was automated (the portal cannot tell you which, but the email can), email creators@slopsquash.com and a person will review it and tell you the outcome.
