Privacy
No analytics, no ads, no trackers
The website and the extension load no analytics scripts, set no advertising cookies and run no third-party trackers. What little we count is described here.
Updated
On the website
No analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, no social pixels, no third-party scripts. The page you are reading loads its fonts and nothing else from outside.
In the extension
No telemetry. The only counting is the per-site usage statistic derived from the optional hostname that accompanies a detection batch (x.com, never the path), and the daily request counters used to enforce limits, which are keyed by your account or, signed out, a hashed IP address and kept for 30 days. Firefox's data-collection categories for device data, crash reports and interaction telemetry are marked as not collected.
Server logs
Cloudflare keeps request logs (IP address, user agent, path, status, timing) for security and debugging for 30 days.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
We do not track people across sites, so there is nothing for Do Not Track to disable. We treat Global Privacy Control as an opt-out under applicable state law anyway.
We do not sell data
Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone. The privacy policy section 12.4 says so in the words the law uses.
