Acceptable use: what you may not do with a verdict
Verdicts are for your own reading, not for accusing, disciplining or targeting people. The terms also forbid scraping the cache, bypassing limits and dishonest reports.
Updated
Section 9 of the terms lists the rules. The ones that matter most:
Do not use a verdict against a person
You may not use a verdict to harass, threaten, defame, stalk, discipline, deplatform or discriminate against anyone, to make or support an employment, academic, housing, credit, insurance or similar decision about anyone, or to publish or assert as fact that a specific person used AI. A verdict is an automated opinion about content. See The detection accuracy disclaimer.
Do not scrape or reconstruct the cache
The API is for the extension and the website. Bulk queries, crawling, mirroring, submitting hashes or content in bulk to discover what has been analysed, and attempts to link any cache entry or report to a person are all prohibited.
Do not bypass limits or tiers
No circumventing rate limits, daily limits, tier gating or authentication, and no modified builds to obtain Pro features. Entitlement comes only from our records.
Do not share accounts or tokens
Accounts, session tokens and extension tokens are personal.
Report honestly
Submit only reports you believe to be accurate. No coordinated mass reporting, and no using reports to manipulate a verdict for any purpose other than honest correction.
Other rules
Do not deliberately submit content to get personal data or malicious payloads processed, do not violate a site's terms through the extension, do not probe or attack the service, do not use it to build or benchmark a competing detector without written consent, and do not misrepresent an affiliation with Slop Squash.
Consequences
We may investigate, suspend or terminate accounts, purge cache entries and reports, and cooperate with law enforcement. Creators are additionally bound by the prohibited promotion methods.
