Create an account

Sign up with an email address and password, or continue with Google, GitHub, X, Twitch or Instagram. Verify the email before checkout or the creator program.

With an email address

  1. Open the sign-up page.
  2. Enter your email address, a password, and optionally a name. Accept the terms.
  3. We send a verification link. Click it; the site confirms the address is verified.

Disposable email domains are rejected, because the address is where receipts, verification and creator decisions go. See Disposable email addresses.

With a provider

Choose Continue with Google, GitHub, X, Twitch or Instagram on the sign-up or sign-in page. The provider asks you to authorise Slop Squash and sends us a short-lived token, which we use once to read your profile and then discard. We keep only the provider's user id for you and the profile fields that provider shares.

  • Google, GitHub and Twitch share your email address, so the account is created with it.
  • X and Instagram do not share an email address. After you authorise, the site asks you for one and sends a verification link to it; the account is created unverified until you confirm. Instagram sign-in works only for business or creator (professional) accounts.

Age

You must be at least 16 to use the service, and 18 (or the age of majority where you live) to buy Pro or join the creator program. See Age requirements.
