Privacy
Cookies and local storage
One functional cookie for referral attribution, a session token in local storage, and the extension's own storage. No analytics, no advertising, no trackers.
Updated
The complete list is the cookie policy. In short:
| Item | Where | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
slopsquash.session |
Local storage on slopsquash.com | Keeps you signed in; sent to the API as a bearer token | Removed on sign-out; session expires after 14 days |
sv_ref |
Cookie on .slopsquash.com |
Remembers which creator's link you followed so the 30% discount applies at checkout | 30 days |
| Extension token | Extension storage | Signs the extension's requests as your account | 90 days or until sign-out or uninstall |
| Extension settings | Extension storage | Your switches, presets, lists and Pro rules | Until changed or uninstalled |
| Tab verdict memo | Extension session storage | Avoids re-analysing content on the current tab | Cleared when the browser closes |
Cloudflare may set operational cookies such as __cf_bm for bot mitigation on our hosts, and Cloudflare Access sets one for staff on the admin host. Stripe and the sign-in providers set cookies on their own domains when you use them.
Consent
The referral cookie is the only item that is not strictly necessary. A consent card asks once, with Accept and Only essentials; you can reopen it from Cookie preferences in the footer or on the cookie policy page. Declining means a creator link will not apply its discount, though the landing page shows the creator's code, when one exists, so you can type it at checkout. Your choice is stored locally under slopsquash.consent.
The extension sets nothing on other sites
It draws its overlay in your browser and sets no cookies on the pages you visit.
Clearing
Signing out removes the session; your browser's site-data settings remove sv_ref; signing out of the popup removes the extension token; uninstalling removes all extension storage.
