How to upgrade to Pro

Steps

1. Sign in, or create an account. See Create an account.
2. Verify your email address. Checkout is refused until the address on the account is verified; the account page has a Resend verification email button. See Verify your email.
3. Open the pricing page and choose Pro (monthly) or Pro Lifetime.
4. You are sent to Stripe Checkout. Enter your card there; Slop Squash never sees the number. Monthly checkout shows the renewal terms and asks for your consent before charging.
5. Stripe returns you to your account page, which now shows the plan.
6. If the extension is already connected, it picks up the new tier on its next configuration refresh. Otherwise connect it from the connect page.

Before checkout

A few automated checks run first: your email must be verified, disposable email domains are rejected, and repeated declines trigger a cool-down. See Checkout problems if a button does nothing or you see an error.

Discounts and promotion codes

If you arrived through a creator's referral link within the last 30 days and have never paid, the 30% first-month discount is applied to monthly automatically; the account page tells you it will be. When no referral discount applies, monthly checkout has a field for a creator code. See The referral discount at checkout.

Receipts

Stripe emails a receipt for every payment. Invoices and receipts are also in the Stripe customer portal, reached from Manage billing on your account page. See Receipts and invoices.
