Troubleshooting
Tell us about a site that does not work
Email support with the page address, your browser, what you expected, and what the popup and card showed. The more specific, the faster the adapter fix.
Updated
Sites change their markup often, and an adapter that worked last month can stop finding posts. When that happens on a supported site, or on a site you think should work with the generic adapter, tell us.
First, rule out settings
Run through The circle is not appearing. In particular check the popup does not say Not available on this page and that the site is enabled.
What to send
Email support@slopsquash.com with:
- The page address, or a description of the page type if the URL is private (for example "my Reddit home feed", "a YouTube Shorts page").
- Your browser and version, and whether the extension came from the store or an unpacked build.
- What you expected and what happened: no circles at all, circles in the wrong place, circles on the wrong element, the card not opening, or the page misbehaving.
- What the popup shows for the site: the counts and switch states.
- A screenshot of the page with the extension on, if you can. Blur anything private.
- Whether it is new: did it work before?
What we do with it
Adapters are tested against saved snapshots of each site, so a message with a page type lets us capture a new snapshot and fix the selectors. You will not get a ticket number, but a person reads every email and you will hear back.
Sites we will not add
Sites where running the extension would be unlawful or breach the site's terms in a way we cannot support, and sites with no user-generated content. The extension never runs on slopsquash.com by design.
